Business Development Manager – Bristol Job

 

The Role

You are a experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager and want to play a key role in helping Digirank achieve our next stage agency growth plans.

This is a brand new role within our team based in Temple Studios in Bristol. As Business Development Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all new business enquiries. You will be responsible for carving out and closing new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Digirank’s core digital marketing services
  • Pro-actively develop a sales pipeline of leads and contacts by reaching out to new prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, networking groups
  • Respond to in-bound sales enquiries, qualify them, and work with the wider Digirank team to help prepare sales material relevant to the brief
  • Secure and deliver new business meetings with pre-qualified prospects
  • Prepare and deliver pitches, proposals, contracts & close sales
  • Be meticulous about recording interactions and the sales pipeline activity in the CRM
  • Help us to refine and shape our services
  • Keeping up to date with the industry, competitor developments and digital opportunities
  • Briefing the wider Digirank team about all new client projects
  • Our reputation is paramount so integrity is key

Does this sound like you?

  • 2 yrs+ experience of digital sales, ideally acquired agency-side, but not essential
  • Excellent and demonstrable track record of sales and dealing with clients
  • Be commercially aware with an ability to maximise opportunities
  • Confident to influence senior decision makers
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to be able to strongly represent Digirank
  • Our reputation is paramount so integrity is key
  • Work independently and be pro-active in their approach
  • Broad understanding of digital, tech, marketing services

Benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to be a core part of our agency as we look to grow and expand.

You can expect a base salary, commission on sales and stretch bonus based on sales performance, plus a generous benefits package including flexible working, pension, good holiday allowance and gym membership.

As this is a totally new role within the business, we can look at a full-time or part-time position for the right person.
